Today's phrase is derived from the phrase "zich niet goed voelen": to not feel well, to feel ill, to feel sick. You may also hear people say "ik word niet goed": i'm starting to feel sick (to my stomach), or "ik ben niet goed": I'm not well / I feel sick (to my stomach). The latter of course depends on context, because literally it says: "I'm not good."
Although you can use the phrase "ik word er niet goed van" literally, it's mostly used figuratively with the broader meaning of 'it's driving me / it drives me crazy'. You may also use "daar/hier word ik niet goed van" or "ik word hier niet goed van".
