You can use "zeg dat wel" as the confirmation of a preceding statement (by somebody else).

Synonymous to "zeg dat wel" is "inderdaad" (indeed), "nou!" (why yes!), or "zo is het maar net" (and that’s the way it is).

Examples:
- "Frank zit altijd uit te dagen…" – "Zeg dat wel…" 
("Frank is always provoking…" – "You can say that again…")

- "Pannenkoeken met spek zijn echt lekker!" – "Zeg dat wel! Heerlijk!" 
("Pancakes with bacon are really good!" – "You can say that again! Delicious!")

- "Die film is echt slaapverwekkend." – "Zeg dat wel! Hij is echt verschrikkelijk!" 
("That movie is really boring" – "You can say that again! It’s really terrible!")

Expressions:
- "Nou!": why yes!

Example:
- "Vindt u het vandaag ook zo koud?" – "Nou! ik haat de winter…"
("Do you also think it’s it cold today?" – "Why yes! I hate winter…")

- "Zo is het maar net": and that’s the way it is.

Example:
